The insanely ripped actor does this in the most unique of ways: bringing his own gym to the set of all of his projects, because not just any gym will do it for him.
Johnson posted a video of himself working out on Instagram this week in his large on-set gym, which looks to have every weight machine you could imagine. The tented gym is decorated with an American flag, as well as flags representing the Air Force and Marine Corps. He explained in the caption that he was training in Canada, where he is shooting the action-thrilled Skyscraper withNeve Campbell.
“I travel with this entire hardcore gym to every location I shoot in because (for me) it's the only way this lead dog eats,” he explained.
The Rock, who is the second highest-paid actor of 2017, just behind Mark Wahlberg, shared another peek inside his gym earlier this week, when he let his followers see a bottle that he pees in during his workouts.
"Look, I go hardcore when I train. I don't have time to go to the bathroom,” the 45-year-old explained. “I find a bottle, I pee in it, and I keep training like a beast."
The man just loves to train without stopping. As his trainer, Dave Rienzi, has said, "He loves to train, so you struggle to keep him out of the gym. When I started working with him, he was spending too much time in the gym, which was a little counterproductive, so I had to try to limit him to a really intense 45-60 minutes
